Duck Tape. Everything can be fixed with either Duck Tape or a paper clip.

What would be a better photo adhesive to use..glue stick, or double sided tape?
I am organizing all my photos into albums (not scrapbooks). The albums I picked out are plain thick brown paper so I have to stick the photos on with some kinds of adhesive. I want them to stay put for a very very long time and my experience with glue stick has been that sometimes things come a little loose. What do you think would be better for me to use for this project. The glue stick, or the double sided tape. I have no experience using double sided tape, so if you think that is the better choice, give me some tips to make the job easier...please :)What would be a better photo adhesive to use..glue stick, or double sided tape?
I would not use the glue unless it is specifically photo glue. Glue is messy, so it would not be my first choice. The glue stick would be my second choice because I don't think it is a secure, although I have run across a few that were. My first choice would be the double sided tape. It is clean and easy. You could use repositionable in case you ever wanted to change the photos. I know you think you won't, but I thought so also on some of my albums, and it turned out years later I did want to move them. Whatever choice you make, be sure it is acid free. Buy an album with the page protectors ifyou want to avoid this question.

Is there any reason I can't put down good quality self-adhesive tiles over a glued down vinyl type floor?
The old floor is the original in a home built in 1978. It is glued down tight over a concrete slab. I have no idea if it has asbestos in it, so don't want to try to remove it.Is there any reason I can't put down good quality self-adhesive tiles over a glued down vinyl type floor?
Just as long as the old vinyl is thoroughly clean, your tiles can go down over the old floor. Need to use a good cleaner that will loosen up the old wax and dirt, and it will take some of the sheen off of the old floor. If the existing vinyl is secure and in decent repair you can place the self-stick tiles directly to it. Just clean it well first.
Just a warining, the self-stick tiles tend to shrink very slightly over time creating gaps between tiles.
Everyone else pretty much answered your question pretty well but one thing I found that it will raise your floor about 1/8th of an inch. And for me that was enough so I couldn't have a rug in front of my back door. Just keep your clearances in mind. Otherwise good luck.
As long as you lay the tiles properly, you will end up w/ a very professional looking floor....always measure and start in the middle, placing tiles outward in even distribution. And be sure to double check the pattern; the backside of each tile will have an arrow on the paper backing, keep all arrows pointing in the same direction. the tiles will stick to the old flooring extremely well, as long as you give that old floor one last very good cleaning w/ a non-residue solution.

Ardell Lashtite Adhesive False Eyelash Glue?
Okay, I love false eyelashes and used to wear them everyday.
Unfortunately for me, I became allergic to the latex that most glues use, so I bought this product.
I have used them once before and have a couple of questions:
Do I put the lashes on the actual skin of my eyelid next to the hair roots, or on the lashes themselves and NOT on the skin?
What's the easiest way to remove them? I tried it once and it didn't go so well. I used the removal that came with the adhesive and had a whole lot of trouble getting the eyelashes off.
I know that it's for individual lashes only, but what would happen if I used it with strip lashes? Is it okay or bad?

I absolutely love false eyelashes and wear them 85% of the time :-)
When it comes to the Ardell Lashtite adhesive, it's better to apply the glue in between your eyelash hairs as opposed to on the actual skin of your eyelash. If it comes into contact of your tightline (wet skin that touches eyeball), it will slightly burn, so please be careful. The fumes can be a little overwhelming to some but you can get used to it and be sure to use just a little. A little goes a long way and can last for a couple of weeks, depending upon the person.
I would not recommend using the Lashtite adhesive on strip lashes because of the thickness of the fiber binding the lashes to create the strip. It will become extremely difficult and can irritate your eyelids when sleeping at night.
The easiest way to remove your eyelashes is with Lashfree remover. Simply dip a clean q-tip into the Lashfree bottle and rotate the moistened q-tip on the top of your eyelashes in a rolling motion. It is a bit time consuming to remove but its recommended this way as opposed to pulling. You can pull your actual eyelash hairs.
Be careful, and take your time. Practice makes perfect!

their self adhesive better know as peel and stick. just make sure the floor is clean and take your time ,you only want to place them down once.if you try to raise them or move them it can get pretty messy.When installation for vinyl when they say no glue needed do they mean no adhesive needed?

Most say that its very difficult to glue hdpe reliably but it may help if you used an oxidizer on the surface and then applied a glue
You could heat weld it together but i imagine this would be very difficult.
