How can I post paper to a foam board without the glue or adhesive ruining it or showing through?

I am doing a display project board and I need to attache several pieces of paper to a foam board backing. I would like it to stick to the paper without tape showing on the front or without the glue adhesive making a mess of the paper. There is a craft spray adhesive that works well and you can even move the paper later if you need to by carefully peeling it away from the surface of the foam board. This won't leak through or make a mess of the paper. you can find it in most craft departments at Walmart of Kmart. Double-sided tape
A spray glue ( Spray 77.. available at home stores or craft stores ) is one option. You could also run the items through a Xyron machine, if they aren't,t too big. The machine is available at all larger craft stores. It is a good investment , if you are a '; crafty '; person. I got mine with a 40% off coupon.
There are adhesive sprays out there at craft/art stores. You just spray the back of the paper and smooth it out as you go.
Glue dots.
try a spray lacquer....should stick to the foam and paper , and be smooth..spray litely.......humm hair spray may work also
I've found glue sticks to be quite effective for sticking paper to stuff, as long as the edge of the paper is completely covered with glue. And they're cheap.
First, if you're using regular printer paper, it will really help to buy a cheap pack of construction paper to mount that on first. Construction paper is a little thicker and more durable, so it doesn't give in as much when you use glue, and it also makes it easy to add borders to your information and organize things by color. Use glue sticks to attach the printer paper to the construction paper and you won't have any glue marks. Then to attach the construction paper to the foam, I would suggest rubber cement. If you have trouble with that making a mess, try just spreading it more thinly so it doesn't pool on the back of the paper. If it doesn't work for you, though, you can use double-sided tape.
Rubber cement,applied to both the paper and the foam board is a reliable adhesive that will not ruin either surface. The best thing about it is if you get any in a spot you don't want it,just wait for it to dry and rub it off. It dries very quickly. I use rubber cement more than any other adhesive because its cheap,neat and strong.

I use it for everything especially the walls for posters, keeping pictures straight, and holding down knick nacs from getting knocked off tables and shelves. works wonderful and leaves no marks.......and it's reuseable!!
