How do you remove glue residue on tub from (old fashioned) adhesive bathtub stickies?

WD-40 is the easiest thing you will ever use to remove the sticky residue. Spray it on, wait a minute or two and wipe off with a paper towel.

It won't harm the finish on the tub either.

Hope this helps. How do you remove glue residue on tub from (old fashioned) adhesive bathtub stickies?
goo gone works greatHow do you remove glue residue on tub from (old fashioned) adhesive bathtub stickies?
acetone
sandpaper the tub back to bare metal, then respray with matching surface finish such as enamel
Try softening it by using a hair dryer. The heat will melt or soften the glue. Then use Acetone or even some linseed oil to remove it once it is softened.
i have the same problem.. fiberglass tub %26amp; anything more refined %26amp; including laquer thinner will eat the finish... paint thinner / mineral spirits is the route i'm taking!
