Is it possible to remove a dried glue stain (Copydex, Laytex Adhesive) from a cotton hoodie? Thanks.?

Have already tried soaking and washing but the stain is not coming off. It is large across the entire back of the hoodie. Have tried stain remover and has not moved the stain at all.Is it possible to remove a dried glue stain (Copydex, Laytex Adhesive) from a cotton hoodie? Thanks.?
Once glue has dried and set, it is very hard to remove. If glue has found its way onto upholstery, use a spoon, knife or paper towel to scrape and blot the glue without stretching the material. Apply a few sprays of clear water to the stained surface, letting it sit for a few seconds before blotting it. Repeat as often as you need to get rid of the stain.

If this is unsuccessful, make a mixture of water and a few drops of washing up liquid (preferably clear). Spray this mixture on the stain and blot it. Rinse with clear water before repeating. Once done, to ensure that all the glue has been removed, spray with a mixture of half vinegar, half water. Blotting this mixture will bring out and deep down stains.
