If it needs to be glue, (i think it should be spot welded) I would be using selleys araldite. NOT the 5 minute type BUT the 24 hour type. The 5 min style sets but when water is added will eventually go soft. The 24 hour type sets like glass. Be sure to clean the surface first with either denatured alcohol or methylated spirits and be sure to follow the directions. If it says mix equal parts A and B, mix equal parts NOT about equal parts.

only thing i know of is jb weld(walmart sells it ) make sure you scratch the surface some to get it to stick better-stainless steel realy needs to be welded
