I've heard of (and occasionally seen) riders gluing their race numbers onto their jersey instead of pinning them. I'm doing a TT soon and want to give this a try. What kind of glue is used and/or what is the best kind to use? I did a quick internet search and came up with 3M's ';spray mount'; product. Does this work well? Anyone have experience using this? It will hold a number down but it will also (usually) leave a residue on your jersey when you peel the number off. Peel your number off after the race ASAP to cut down on residue. And definitely don't leave the number on when washing the jersey.
I still like pinning though. It just takes practice :)
